 Holy Trinity's Curriculum

Holy Trinity has a rich, broad and varied curriculum that is continually reviewed and adapted to meet the needs of the pupils. It embraces a commitment to equality of opportunity for all of our pupils in all aspects of school life and is based on a firm belief that all children can succeed regardless of their backgrounds or circumstances.

The curriculum includes the Foundation Stage Curriculum and the National Curriculum. This consists of 12 subjects, English, Mathematics, Science, Religious Education, Design and Technology, Art and Design, History, Geography, Music, Computing, PE, Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education (PSHCE) and Modern Foreign Languages (French). Cross curricular or topic based learning takes place alongside discreet subject learning.

The Curriculum at Holy Trinity is taught in termly themes. We have developed four key drivers that we consider to be at the heart of our curriculum. It is important that pupils develop their skills and confidence in these areas to be resilient, independent learners.
