In Year One we enjoy learning all subjects across the curriculum. As well as English and Maths, we learn art, music, science, geography and lots more!
On Tuesdays our specialist music teacher, Mr Powlesland, teaches us all about pitch, rhythm and melodies in music lessons. We also learn Spanish on Monday afternoons.
We have PE on Tuesdays and Thursdays when we develop our physical skills, through dance, gymnastics and invasion games.
We are very curious and love learning; we ask questions and enjoy exploring all our topics.
This year our incredible topics range from Our Local Area (Brixton), to The Jurassic Age, and Inventors and Inventions.
