Our classroom is a welcoming and creative place to be! We love our new curriculum, and especially our topics on Brixton.
We begin the year by looking at how Brixton has changed with our topic on Journeys through Time, Place and Mind. Our future topics will be The Power of the Arts, In the Beginning, Let’s Discover, The World Within London and Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds.
Learning about our community is exciting; this term we will be visiting Holy Trinity Church and the Hindu Temple.
On Tuesday, we have Music with Mr Powesland where we are learning new songs and we do outdoor PE when we get to wear our PE kits all day!
We try to do lots of outdoor learning, such as becoming sound collectors around school in Literacy, measuring statistics on our street in Maths and going on texture trails in Art.
